Savvy has grown out of many years of discussions and research into the importance of teaching financial literacy to Young New Zealanders. Savvy will launch its first classes in April 2016 in Auckland and in further areas in New Zealand later in the year.
New Zealanders are now growing up in a financial world from a very young age and it is very important for them to understand some basic life skills about earning money, saving, investing and debt so that they can make informed decisions.
The Savvy program is built on the Financial literacy progressions from the New Zealand curriculum set by the Ministry of Education.Read more
